The Hyundai MnSoft R700 is a premium Korean dash camera that premiered in late 2012. Hyundai MnSoft is your “vehicle infotainment” firm of Hyundai Motor Group. This camera has very good picture quality during the day and good image quality at night. It records 1080p at 30f/s with an average bit rate of roughly 13,000kpbs. Video segments are recorded in 1 minute segments. The camera includes a G-sensor but does not include GPS.
We have not been able to confirm what processor this camera is using but apparently it is using the Sony Exmor IMX122LQJ CMOS sensor.
We would like to thank our member Mtz who supplied the first review with this dash camera, and it has created a video review as well.
Due to the large price tag and associated problems, this camera has not become popular as a dashboard cam. Hence very few problems have been reported.
Apparently the framerate differs (roughly 30fps) and sound sampling rate (roughly 8000Hz) for every clip. You’ll need to convert the FPS (to 30FPS) and audio sampling rate if you would like to join with these tools.
Should I Purchase?
While the video quality is great and the size is not too big, the more than 200 cost is a bit steep for a non-GPS camera. Check our official website: https://dashcambox.com
